Unscheduled Care General Manager, HSE West and North West

Helene has 24 years’ experience working across multiple health care facilities and departments in Ireland. After spending 17 years working in University Hospital Galway in clinical, patient flow and operational roles, Helene was seconded for 3 years to work on a national patient flow improvement programme. In 2020, Helene joined the Saolta Group as the Unscheduled Care Lead, General Manager, now the West North West Region. She is passionate about improving the patients’ journey and implementing best practices to optimise timely patient flow. Helene is a native of Galway living in Corofin with her husband and four children.
